I am not going to wade into the Chimpanzee-Bonoboo debate because I am tired, but this claim that you are making that it's coded into out DNA is highly contentious and not agreed upon.

Our problem right now is that the white supremacist patriarchical system, as you have rightly mentioned, has squashed and/or erased the histories of alternatives, which in my opinion makes this impulse seem like an inevitability when it is not. This oppression is everywhere because one dominant culture spread it everywhere, not because it's inevitable or hardwired into use.
