Something can be better than feudalism and still bad, That bar is very low. Capitalism improved some things for some people, but its unsustainable (climate change) and ultimately still relies on exploitation.

My alternative is greater democracy over the things we produce. I think workers, not capitalists, should have a greater say in the firms they spend most of their lives in. There are more details, but that's my guiding principal in a nutshell
