Thank you for your thoughts. I think you are mixing up the ideology and the political movement. In the same way that the surrealist movement was years ago, but people can still make surrealist paintings, fascism is still alive and well.
Also, you are trying to make a point by separating communist countries like the USSR and fascism, but many scholars claim that the USSR was fascist (or even totalitarian).
There is then a greater conversation about millions dying under our capitalist system through things like slavery (see chattel slavery, sweatshops, etc.), homelessness, and starvation. Capitalism has probably killed just as many or more people as those living under the USSR (note: I am not defending the USSR, I am just pointing out a flaw in your logic).
